Public Invited to Participate in Legislative Town Hall on October 7

FREDERICK, Md. – Members of the community are invited to attend County Executive Jessica Fitzwater’s annual Legislative Town Hall on Wednesday, October 7, at 7 p.m. at Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street in Frederick. This annual meeting provides an opportunity for members of the public to shape Frederick County’s legislative priorities for the upcoming 2027 Session of the Maryland General Assembly.

"Every year, the decisions made by our state lawmakers in Annapolis shape our daily lives and Frederick County’s future," said County Executive Jessica Fitzwater. "I want to hear directly from our residents about the issues that matter most to them so I can bring their priorities to Annapolis. This Town Hall is an important opportunity for community members to help guide our legislative agenda for the 2027 session."

The County Executive’s proposed package, as well as information about past years’ legislative packages, the legislative calendar, and legislative proposals submitted by the public can be found at FrederickCountyMD.gov/Legislative.
